Working On Famous is a cover band based out of Manistee, Michigan covering primarily rock and roll with a little bit of country music peppered in for flavor. We have such a dynamic and talented singer in AJ Walker, it allows us to cover a wide variety of music geared to make crowds either dance or sing along. From CC to John Mellencamp, Lady Gaga, Styx, Avril Lavigne, Wheatus, The Pretty Reckless, Robert Palmer, Guns N' Roses, Joan Jett, Lit, Ronnie James Dio, Pat Benetar to Cher and so much more!

Working On Famous is a professional band there to entertain the crowd, create a party atmosphere with high energy and great music and leave the crowds and venues happy. We provide our own sound system and stage show with lights and more which allows us to easily adjust our sound and volume in any sized venue, allowing conversations to still be had, especially between patrons and employees.

  • VOCALIST

    While AJ is the least experienced member of Working On Famous, no one would ever guess her level of professional experience after seeing her perform. A.J brings 'it' to every show no matter what size crowd or venue we are playing at. Her voice and ability to accurately sing such a wide variety of music and artists is the only thing shadowing her high energy, looks, and engaging personality. AJ is not only the lead singer and front person of Working On Famous, she is the heart and soul!

  • LEAD GUITAR

    Listening to Josh play the leads in such a wide variety of music in Working On Famous is definitely something to behold. Josh prides himself on his accuracy in pretty much everything he plays, providing lead solos in songs that are so accurately executed that it becomes an experience. Josh has been playing guitar for well over 35 years, 14 with Todd and Jon and with Working On Famous since the beginning and his play and professionalism are a perfect example of his dedication to his craft.

  • BASS GUITAR

    Watching Todd play bass guitar is simply memorizing. Working On Famous wouldn't be complete without our own resident true rocker bass player. With over 40 years of playing just the bass guitar, Todd is a true bass player and aspires to simply play the best he can while entertaining the best he can. At a W.O.F. show, Todd will move around, pose, dance and simply rock out with his bass almost - ALMOST - as much as AJ. Try to keep up if you can.

  • RHYTHM GUITAR

    Being the newest member of Working On Famous, Shawn is certainly not new to playing guitar with over 40 years experience, bringing a classic rock southern-style feel to the band. Shawn hails from the downstate area around the city of Detroit and has played at some of the biggest venues around the metro area. Shawns' experience and professionalism became more than evident to Working On Famous when he learned almost every song in our catalogue. Shawns' playing is the exact dynamic that Working On Famous had been looking for to round out and fill out our sound.

  • DRUMS

    Providing the timing and beat to every song that Working On Famous covers can be a challenge for a lot of drummers but Jon brings over 40 years of experience of playing the drums to the band. Having played with Todd for over 25 of those years gives Working On Famous and their crowds and fans the steady beat and rhythm they can easily follow on the dance floor. Jons' professionalism and dedication to his craft and Working On Famous is always evident by his play and smile behind his drum set.
